What is a Cake Pop?Cake Pops are yummy truffle cakes, on little sticks and can be designed in a range of themes and novelty characters. They make ideal party favours and there is no mess or sticky fingers for your guests to deal with! What set us apart from our competitors is that we dont use melting wafers on our cake pops, all of our cake pops are dipped in Real Belgian Chocolate as we feel that this ensures a better finish and a luxurious taste for our customers.

When Should I Order A Cake?We are extremely busy at Wicked Pops HQ on a daily basis and therefore the earlier you book in your cake and secure your date with us the better. Particularly with Wedding Cakes, we only acept two wedding cake orders per week so make sure you reserve your date before someone else books it. A small deposit secures your date. We already have bookings for the 2019 Wedding Season. We only accept a limited number of bespoke orders each week and if someone has already booked your date, whilst we will always try and accommodate you if at all possible, we can not guarantee that we will be able to make your order if booked in late. There is never any harm in asking about last minute orders however, so please feel free to check with us, if we can help you, we will of course try our best.

How Much Do Your Cakes and Cake Pops Cost?Every Cake and Cake Pop is individually designed for our customers. We have base prices for our celebration cakes starting from £45 and Cake Pops from £1.50 each. Final quotes will depend on the complexity of the chosen design, and time needed to complete it. Please bear in mind that flowers and modelled figures are all made by hand and take a considerable time, our prices do reflect a fair wage for our time and skills. We ensure that we use good quality ingredients in our cakes, a professional grade fondant and our ganache is made with Belgian Chocolate so you can be sure that you are purchasing a cake made to a high standard. We wont compromise on quality as our reputation for affordable, beautiful and tasty cakes is very important to us. We may offer a discount on larger orders, please ask us for further details should you require a large number of cake pops.

How Do You Deal With Allergens? We work in a home based kitchen which has been inspected and registered with Wigan Local Authority and has received and maintained a 5 star rating since our business began. We also store products in the kitchen that may have traces of nuts and other allergens present and therefore, unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee a nut free product. We can cater for Gluten Free customers but require a discussion to confirm if the preferred flavour is available as not all of our tried, tested and preferred recipes are suitable.

How Should I Store My Cake and Cake Pops?CAKES - Your fondant covered cake should not be refrigerated, please store it in the cake box provided. Once the cake has been cut into, the exposed sponge should be covered in cling film, stored in the box and eaten within three days for maximum freshness. When transporting your cake, please ensure that the box is kept flat and not lifted at an angle. Car journeys - preferably place the cake box in the boot or passenger footwell of the car. Never place the cake on a car seat or passengers lap as in the event of an emergency stop, the cake can be damaged. CAKE POPS - Please store all cake pops in the box provided. The chocolate seals the cake inside and they will remain fresh for 10-12 days from date of delivery/collection. If pops get too warm the chocolate can bloom (patchy) or melt and if they get too cold the chocolate can crack. Please do not store pops in the fridge.
